And because I've been traveling . . .

 I don't have much in the way of new content for my blog.  Next week may be a touch spotty as well, because I'll be "down the Shore," as we say hereabouts, taking my long-deferred summer vacation.  The Halloween story, however, will continue uninterrupted.
