Scribbledehobbledehoyden: The Magpie's Eye: Page 144

.

Just doodles, I'm afraid.  The rather phallic hanged man is labeled doomed & nonchalant.

As much as I like " Doomed & Nonchalant" for your phallic drawing I think you should change the name to "Well Hung" or even possibly "Boned Again". They might be a bit obvious though.
On a completely unrelated note I loved your short on the Tor website "The Dala Horse". It had some echoes of your Darger & Surplus stories (old malevolent technologies buried deep in the earth, ala Dancing With Bears) which I love, but for some reason this story hit my warm fuzzy spot just right. Any chance on exploring this world more in the future?
Thanks for the stories, and hang in there Rich! (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
Good Day

I bought a little dala horse and began looking for a story to tell around it when I was guest of honor at Swecon in Upsala twelve years ago. I'm not sure when I actually began work on the story, but I recall writing the first half of it, up to Linnea's meeting with the troll, fairly quickly. Then I had to wait at least a year, and possibly more, before I discovered what was going on and could write the rest of it.

So with that history, it looks unlikely that there'll be a sequel anytime soon.

That said, one never knows. You wake up one morning and a story you never thought you'd write comes alive in your mind. The imagination is like a horse. I've learned to ride mine, but I can't always tell it where to go.
