No Blog Today

.
As usual, I'm on the road again.  As unusual, I have nothing to say.  You have no idea how strange this feels to me.

If you have no ideas of your own you should steal one from somebody else.

That's what I do when I draw a blank for my daughter's bedtime story. She got a section of your own "Five British Dinosaurs" just a few days ago.

I did something similar wen Sean was young, when I took a straight fairy tale telling and turned it into "The King Who Was As Dumb As Mud And His Three Sons Who Were Even Stupider Than Him (Hard Though That Might Be To Believe)." One of my favorites.

I'm glad my own story proved similarly useful.

P.S. Was yours the one about the Harryhousen mechanical dino?

No - they one where the dino complained about inaccurate reconstructions which rendered him as a great lumbering beast.

I made it a little bit less contentious as it was a bedtime story, and had Hannah correcting the historical record with the help of a friendly dinosaur, over a cup of tea.

Tea with a dinosaur is good.
