Thank you for that. We have this particular production on DVD, and I've often enjoyed Dianna Damrau's excellent Queen of the Night.
This excellent translation does a great deal to clarify some of the subtleties that I, as an English speaker hadn't caught before.
Both this and Rameau's _Zoroaste_ seem to be bizarre Masonic infommercials. Perhaps they were the _Battlefield Earth_ of their day?
Can't get it because of copyright restriction in Germany. But I will find it in the web! Thanx for the hint.
