Back to Short Fiction

.

The Iron Dragon's Mother is finished and off in the world. So, while I proceed to research the next book, I have time to work on short fiction. I have a few dozen stories I want to finish with six or seven right at the top of my list.

Pictured above are my notes for one of those stories.

Which I'll get to work on in two minutes.

And as promised...

I'll have my travel notes for Tampere written up soon. Really. This time I mean it.

Hopefully some more Mongolian Wizard stories are in store.

I obviously have some catching up to do on your work. Still treasure my signed copy of _Iron Dragon's Daughter_. I take it that _Mother_ is a sequel, or in the same universe?

Also, and I know it is the mark of a rank amateur to over-obsess on the tools of the craft, but that looks like a vintage ballpoint of some kind? What is it?

The Iron Dragon's Mother is a stand-alone novel that completes the trilogy begun with The Iron Dragon's Daughter and continued in The Dragons of Babel.

The ballpoint is contemporary rather than vintage. It's a Monteverde.
