I'm spending the day packing. Meanwhile, for your edification . . . a bus that does push-ups.
This is not photoshopped or faked in any way. This is a real bus, really doing push-ups. It's art. By Czechoslovakian artist David Cerny. Who first came to the public's attention when he painted a tank being used as a Soviet war memorial pink. That was in 1991, when doing something like that was dangerous.

And when it's stuck in traffic, it can just use those arms to get the offending vehicles out of the way! Why didn't somebody think of this sooner? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI was on a trolley one night which turned a corner and found a car illegally parked, blocking its way. When nobody came out of the bar in response to the driver clanging the bell, a batch of us got out, picked up the car and carried it sideways onto the sidewalk. Between a lamp post and a bollard, with not enough space to maneuver out.
