I'd need the opposite, an ego-inflater. And then, when that got out of control, I'd need the ego-reducer. And soon enough I'd be going on inflation-reduction cycles like a juicing bodybuilder until my explicit self-esteem grew in to a narcissistic bulk, big but flabby in all the wrong places, within which my diseased and weakened implicit self-esteem might fail catastrophically at any moment.
