Certainly could bring new meaning to the concept of "windows" on a computer screen.

At the risk of stating the obvious, "using the Wii backwards" really means dispensing with the inertial measurement unit (and associated weight) in the Wiimote and just using infrared beams for position location. The drawback, and the reason the Wii doesn't just work this way in general, is that the infrared method will only work as long as you're looking at the sensor next to the screen. If you look away from the screen, this head-tracker is going to lose track of where you are and what you're looking at. But, presumably that is okay in this application.Richard Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00833387144768089695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1484180326012950400.post-22285033839376589892008-01-24T04:02:00.000-08:002008-01-24T04:02:00.000-08:00I officially cast my vote for that video as "worth...I officially cast my vote for that video as "worth watching." Especially now that I'm not in dialup hell.

I had no use for wii. Now I understand why it left me cold. It was because everyone was telling me to use it forwards. Using it backwards, suddenly, it's a much more interesting product.

Must be something about the way my brain works. In reverse.

OzOzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11874080106356780982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1484180326012950400.post-64799991432469912112008-01-24T04:01:00.000-08:002008-01-24T04:01:00.000-08:00I officially cast my vote for that video as "worth...I officially cast my vote for that video as "worth watching."
